He loves churrasco and sushi, his dream trip is Tokyo, he would like to live in Greece and his personal life goal is to open his own business. These are just a few things about Fernando, one of our Erasmus volunteers from Spain. Let’s find out more about him!
“I decided to be a GROW trainer because I think this is an unique opportunity in my life to support young people to discover their strengths and figure out what they want to do in life. In GROW, you can develop your skills and give the best of you at the same time.
I wanted to become part of this project to accelerate my personal growth and to develop my abilities. Also, to get out of my comfort zone and be more self-confident.
My first day in Romania
When I arrived to Romania, I felt that the winter is very different comparing to my city in Spain: the weather changed from 21 degrees in Alicante to 0 degrees in Bucharest. Moreover, I remember a curious moment! At the airport, the policeman asked me where I am from and the reason why I was visiting the country and then he said some words in Spanish. Later, I discovered that many Romanians learned Spanish thanks to the soap operas.
What would I do if I had a magic wand? It would be incredible to have one!! I would eliminate all the bad moments in my life, but I would keep the lessons learnt, so that I won’t make the same mistakes again.”
