In every city where GROW takes place, we have a local team that implements the project, led by a coordinator (OCP). To get into the GROW atmosphere, let’s meet the enthusiastic local coordinators! Today we present you Irina.

Hello, I am Irina Strugari, I am nineteen years old and I live in Suceava. I am a first year student at Stefan cel Mare University from Suceava, Faculty of Economic Sciences and Public Administration. I am a happy person and I like to develop myself and learn many useful things. I am a hard worker because I like things that are done properly.

I like many things: going out with my friends, to read, to watch serials, listen to music, but most of all, I like to go on trips to the mountains with my friends. I love to travel, to see new places and to take many pictures.

I heard about GROW when I applied in AIESEC and all the people I talked to told me it was a very cool project, which involves a lot of work, but we’ll have fun with teenagers and trainers. I was excited about what they said and I decided to apply to be part of the team. I was lucky and I was selected, so I decided to do my best not to disappoint others.

I was impressed by the team leader and the motivation she had to make a great project. Also the theme of the project was very interesting and I wanted to help organize it. Working with teenagers was one of the most exciting activities, but also meeting with students from other countries.

I liked very much that I worked in a team that organized GROW and I had the opportunity to meet many new people with who I understand very well. I learned a lot and I have developed personally and professionally. And I’d like to apply things learned so far in the summer edition.

My message to teenagers and trainers is to apply for this project because it is awesome! You will learn many interesting and useful things. We will do practical things, we will learn by doing, also we will develop our skills, knowledge and behavior. Together we learn to discover ourselves, to have confidence and to be brave. Let’s Practise, Learn, Step-Up Together!
